    Summary

This is an epic mountain bike holiday in Wales! The route crosses Eryri (formerly known as Snowdonia) and takes in some amazing scenery and trails. Well suited for hardtail mountain bikes and mtb-biased gravel bikes this is a fabulous coast to coast biking route that takes you through some of the best landscapes that Wales has to offer.

From Wales' west coast the mountain biking route leads from the Dovey Valley to the flanks of the mighty Cadair Idris, one of Wales' most iconic mountains. Country lanes and fantastic off road trails take you to the beautiful Barmouth Bay and amazing singletrack can be found at the World-famous mountain biking trails at Coed y Brenin. Beyond, you will find a landscape of abandoned slate mines and glorious forests near Betws y Coed. The grand finale includes epic views of North Wales' highest peaks and through its most incredible scenery. A landscape of rugged hills, picturesque lakes and big views over the Welsh north coast awaits as you descend on some brilliant singletrack to Wales' fairy-tale old town of Conwy.
