About Trailbrakes

Pete Corson

Pete set out to travel the world in 2001. Armed with a degree in Zoology and a keen sense of adventure he carried out conservation work in the Caribbean and led a diving expedition to Fiji. However, something finally dragged him home - It wasn't the weather or the love of deep fried Mars bars - It was the mountains!

Since returning Pete has built on his skills and gained mountain bike leader qualifications through the SMBLA (Scottish Mountain Bike Leader Award Scheme) as well as working as a sailing and power-boating instructor. Pete has combined his passion for mountain biking and sense of adventure to create world class mountain biking routes that show the rest of the world just how amazing Scotland is!

Christine Finlay

Christine is the brains behind Trailbrakes' success! Having recently returned from a round the world 'market research' tour, she has brought new ideas and enthusiasm to the trips on offer. Christine has a passion for the outdoors and the environment and loves showing people the wild and wonderful places in her home country. She has been mountain biking for the last 4 years and is a qualified trail cycle leader. She helps with every aspect of Trailbrakes trips from researching routes to transporting your luggage!
